BRB, Escaping Raleigh for a Damn Good Love Story

Get me out of Raleigh….just for a couple days. My suitcase practically lives by the door at this point, and I never say no to a little road trip romance.

When Rachel and Taylor told me they were tying the knot in Virginia, I was already mentally packing snacks for the drive. After their engagement session, I knew this wedding was going to be a vibe—equal parts emotional and “holy crap this is stunning.”

I had been counting down the days to capture their I do’s with my camera and full-on emotional support energy. These two are the kind of couple that make you laugh during portraits, cry during vows, and leave you wondering if you were actually invited or just part of the family.

Moral of the story? When love calls (and it’s outside of Raleigh), I’m already in the car.
