DONOVAN MANOR

historic charm.
Effortlessly timeless

There’s something about Donovan Manor that already feels like it has stories in it. The old architecture, the light coming through the house, the grounds outside—it gives you plenty of beauty without needing the day to feel overly styled. And once everyone settles in, it somehow feels less like a venue and more like you’ve taken over one really beautiful house for the night.

The Grounds

The House

From the moment you walk in, the house feels like it slows everything down—in the best way. The natural light, the high ceilings, the quieter rooms upstairs… it gives the beginning of the day somewhere to breathe before everything really gets going.

The grounds give you so much room to move through the day. Wide lawns, garden spaces, the courtyard, the creek, and all of those little tucked-away corners make it feel like there’s always somewhere else to go without ever really leaving the property.

Whether your ceremony happens under the trees, in the garden, or somewhere else on the grounds, the setting never feels one-note.

Some places give you a backdrop. Donovan Manor gives you an entire setting.

Every Part of the Day Has Its Place

Ceremony outside. Cocktails on the lawn or in the courtyard. Dinner and dancing once everyone moves inside. One of the things I really like about Donovan Manor is that you don’t have to make the whole day happen in one room.

The spaces give the day a natural rhythm, and because there’s so much variety around the property, your photos don’t end up feeling like they were all taken in the same place either.

Donovan Manor doesn’t need much help feeling special. Between the architecture, the older details throughout the house, the gardens, and the way everything softens once the light starts coming through, there’s already a lot of character built into the space.

That means you can bring in your own florals, colors, and design without feeling like you have to completely transform the venue first. It can feel romantic, classic, a little modern, or something totally your own—and the house still feels like part of it.

The Details Already Do A Lot

There’s something really special about a ceremony set in the rose garden. It feels tucked away, intimate, and naturally romantic without trying too hard. If you’re wanting that outdoor ceremony feel but still want it to feel polished and timeless, this part of Donovan Manor gives you that balance so well.

What I love most is that it already feels like a moment on its own. The garden adds softness, texture, and just enough character that you don’t have to overdo anything. It photographs beautifully, feels peaceful for your guests, and gives your vows a setting that actually feels connected to the rest of the day instead of feeling like an afterthought.

The Rose Garden Ceremony

Your Day. The Space. let's Talk

The person
Paying Attention

Donovan Manor has so much character built into it already, and I never want the photography to compete with that. I want you enjoying the house, wandering the grounds, talking to your people, and actually being present in the place you chose.

My job is to pay attention to how the day moves through all of it—the quiet moments inside, the reactions during the ceremony, the way everyone spills outside afterward, and the little things happening in between that you probably won’t even realize I saw.

I’ll step in when something needs direction and leave things alone when they don’t. The goal is never to turn Donovan Manor into a backdrop for a photo shoot. It’s to let the setting add to the story while the photographs still feel completely like you.

You should leave remembering how the day felt here—not how much time you spent posing for it.
