For years and years and YEARS I have been following this photographer/artist extraordinaire, Sam Hurd. I missed my chance a couple years back to see him in Raleigh NC and recently I promised myself (after looking on his website at his sold out workshops) that the next one he posted I would book it immediately.  I did just that to Denver Colorado.  I brought along my husband to have some awesome company and make a nice trip out of it.  We decided to stay Friday to Monday and it was so nice to get away with Corey and see the gorgeous Red Rocks Amphitheater and not have a timeline of any sorts…well until Sunday lol. Not only did we visit Red Rocks but we also toured Denver’s enormous downtown. I saw so many photo opts that I just had to get pictures of and thankfully my darling husband was at my side being so kind to model for me (yes I caught a few eye rolls lol).

Fast forwarding to Sunday…one of the best days ever. I was super nervous getting to meet Sam.  Thankfully he was so kind hearted and was making everyone at the workshop feel so welcome. Our workshop lasted from 10am – 6pm and I know myself and others would have stayed even longer if we could lol.  He was truly an open book about everything.  I am so blessed to have been able to make this trip happen and get the extra confident boost that I needed.  Thank you Sam for all your hard work that inspires so many people on a daily basis!  You are a true ROCKSTAR!!!!
