I had the honor of traveling to the beautiful state of California (for my very first time) to capture the love and excitement of Alana and Chris. Now I can say this session is truly one of my top favorites. Alana and Chris chose the beautiful city of San Diego for their engagement session. With so many stunning locations to choose from, it can be difficult to pick just one. However, La Jolla Beach and Balboa Park offer an unbeatable combination of fun and beauty.

Balboa Park was the first location we visited, which is another popular location for engagement sessions in San Diego. The park is home to many stunning gardens, museums, and cultural attractions, making it an ideal location to capture the beauty and cultural richness of San Diego. During the session, the couple and I strolled through the park, taking photos in front of beautiful fountains and among the lush greenery. The love and happiness of the couple was palpable in every shot, and I was so grateful to be a part of their special moment.

Next we headed over to La Jolla Beach and it took my breath away. The gorgeous sunsets, pristine sand, and gentle waves made for a romantic and breathtaking setting. Alana and Chris are so in love, and it was a joy to capture their laughter and love as they walked (and climbed lol) along the shore. Whether at sunset, sunrise, or during the day, La Jolla Beach is sure to make for a stunning beach engagement session.

In the end, all I can say is that San Diego is one of the best places to capture the love and excitement of a couple in love. La Jolla Beach and Balboa Park are two of the many gorgeous locations that this city has to offer, and I highly recommend them for any couple looking for a fun and romantic engagement session.
