I will take any excuse to head back to Asheville, and Morgan and Dane’s engagement session gave me a pretty damn good one. We wandered through the mountains, stopping whenever the light, the view, or a random little trail felt right.

That’s one of my favorite things about an Asheville mountain engagement session. You don’t need to overcomplicate it. Good scenery, room to explore, and two people willing to walk around and actually enjoy being together will always give me more to photograph than a perfectly planned list of poses.

Morgan and Dane made the entire evening easy. We walked, talked, climbed around a little, and let the mountains do what the mountains do. The result felt relaxed, slightly adventurous, and completely them.
