Some weddings seem to belong exactly where they happen. This one unfolded in Asheville with color, crowded tables, candlelight, and people who clearly came ready to be together. From the quiet moments before the day began to a reception packed shoulder to shoulder, the entire celebration felt less like a production and more like one really good night with everyone they love.
Asheville has a way of making a wedding feel a little different. There is personality everywhere you look, and this day leaned all the way into it. Bold walls, plants tucked into every corner, warm wood, and tables set closely together created a space that felt intimate without ever feeling overly styled. It was colorful, slightly unexpected, and completely its own thing.
The beginning of the day moved quietly. The kind of quiet where everyone knows something big is about to happen, but no one is rushing it along. There were people moving in and out of rooms, final touches being made, and those small in-between moments that often become some of my favorite photographs from a wedding day.
