Getting to go to Asheville NC is by far one of the most relaxing drives especially when you have three things in place.  First, you have a friend going with you (in this case my friend Melissa). Second, is knowing that you are about to be in the most scenic part of what North Carolina has to offer. Lastly, you are driving up there to photograph a GORGEOUS couple for an engagement session with views that are jaw dropping.

After Melissa and I drove up to Asheville two times, not being able to successfully get to our destination due to weather, we were about done for a while lol.  In the back of our minds we KNEW that the third time would the the charm.  Thank goodness that came true when we met up with Madison and Wyatt.  The two of them made every single drive, 30 hours in the car, WORTH EVERY SINGLE MINUTE.  We could not have asked for a better couple then these two lovebirds.  They were willing to go anywhere and stay out as long as we needed just so we could get the shots.  I mean, they totally understood since Madison is a photographer herself. She knows what the pains and the gains are in the wedding industry.

I am truly blessed to have an AWESOME travel companion to endure these long trips with.  Melissa, it isn’t over yet.  We have one down…and one more to go lol. Let’s do this!
