My husband had no idea we were going to travel to Charlotte NC for the weekend.  I had made plans about two months ago and the fact that I had to hold every single detail in was killing me. Finally the day came and I was a nervous wreck.  Clouds, that were dark enough for us to question if it was going to rain on us, would keep showing up every so often.  If the rain were to finally start there was no way my surprise would work. Thankfully the day ended up to be beautiful for Corey and I.  Once we arrived in Charlotte he was already excited.  We both truly love going to Charlotte especially downtown.  We made our way into our room and dropped off our things and ran back out.  We were on schedule to be somewhere at 4pm.  I gave Corey the directions while he drove and yet he still had no idea what I had planned for him.  We pulled into Charlotte Motor Speedway and still nothing really clicked.  We drove through and found the signs “Xtreme Xperience” and parked.  There I gave him a small box for him to open while explaining to him that he would be driving a certain car on the track today. Inside that box would be a hint to what he would be driving.  He opened the box to find a tiny Hot Wheels Lamborghini.  Literally, his body went into action and he jumped out of the car lol.  I was so freakin excited for him!!  Before he drove we, of course went through a small driving course and then we were “toured” around the track. We quickly learned what “toured” meant which was us getting in the car while the driver gave you a FULL experience of what it would be like with him going SUPER FAST!!!  I got out of that car and kissed the ground.  I have never done anything like that before.  After my adrenaline calmed it was Corey’s turn to jump into the driver seat.  He handled that car like a pro and the entire time I wouldn’t stop smiling.  Our trip was a success!!
